Some friends and I went to this place this week. The restaurant is so cute and has some really cute back drop areas. The service was pretty good for the most part. Most of the food was super delicious. There were a few dishes that I did not care for, but maybe you would. The sausage was amazing and had so much flavor. The crackling and fried pork were also really good. I did not care for the jerky. The calamari and egg rolls were definitely a must try! The drinks here, alcoholic and non alcoholic are amazing!!! Great spot for a quick bite or a great outing with friends.

Very friendly and warm service! The Thai tea is SO good, perfect amount of sweetness and the tea itself is very yummy. The interior is so charming (truly lives up to its name) and feels like a cozy, serene place to dine. I would love to have a birthday party here! The Kanom Jeeb is FANTASTIC! The best I've ever ever had.

Discovered this charming Lao restaurant last Saturday and was pleasantly surprised! Despite the initial quiet, the 4.5-star Yelp rating held true. The food was exceptional and arrived quickly. The bar seating offered attentive service, and their daily Happy Hour specials from 4-7 were a delightful bonus. Can't wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly recommended for great food, prompt service, and an inviting atmosphere. I ordered: Kanom Jeeb (steamed dumplings) Lao fried rice with shrimp Crispy Lao Chicken (freshly made and perfect)

Charming Elephant is pretty much the only place in Baltimore for Lao food, and it's all I need. The food is great, the portions are filling without being too much. I got the crying tiger steak and it was smoky and delicious. Would definitely go back.

Absolute GEM of a place. We made reservations for dinner online, but they took walk ins. I wanted to try everything, but had to narrow down what we ordered. Charming Elephant delivered an authentic, inviting, and delicious experience. We canNOT wait to go back (I did stop in the next day for the O-Liang coffee—do yourself a favor and get one too).

The atmosphere is beautiful inside Charming Elephant. I enjoyed the drinks (passionfruit juice was delicious!), the food (especially the Kua Mee), and the service! 5/5 highly recommend!

I loved the Thum Mua Platter with the fried pork belly, Lao sausage, papaya salad, Lao meatball, , chicken and Lao beef jerky and rice vermicelli. My wife liked the Longan ice tea and I like the Taro bubble tea. My son liked the fried banana with honey. We all liked the sticky rice and mango. Definitely will cone back.

Great Laotian food! Came here with a group of friends and had a good spread of food! The Nam Khao is one of my favorite appetizers. Food was spicy but flavorful.
